Football's Coming Home (to Fly Emirates' place...)
I'm starting to be a bit restless about the new premier league season. I'm hoping Van Persie will make his impact on the new season in a good way, and not just by kicking people from Thun in the head again. Anyhow, here's a brilliant goal he scored last season courtesy of the good people of Soccerblog, whose readers, if you check the comments, are a bunch of bastards! And can Arsenal meet FCK in the next qualifying round? Well, here's hoping... Tuesday, July 25, 2006
Oh so silly.
After years of ridicule and basically being called a (media)whore by Jones for having this weblog, it's nice to see that he has now started his own, which is basically a huge loveletter to Tommy T-Bone. And for those who are so inclined, he has started yet another weblog about his favorite womens footie team. Way to play on both horses. Anderz, who is now the most prolific blogger around, found these two brilliant links, which I have now stolen because I am incredibly conlific these days. Finally I would like to state that Pirates 2 is a very silly movie, and Superligaen is a very silly football league. PS: And if anybody sees my Ray-Bans, that appear to have been brutally stolen, please drop me a line. I'm sure there'll be some kind of beer-related reward. Sunday, July 16, 2006
Oh balls, it seems that every other day my computer acts as if it's about to blow up. Luckily it hasn't happened yet, but you'll forgive me if I'm a bit sick of it.
Anyway, for some absurd reason we saw Domino yesterday. What a load of crap that was. Easily one of the worst, most pointless films I've ever seen. We continue our miniature Keira Knightley-thon with Pirates 2 tonight. Hopefully it will be more entertaining fare. Now I'm not suggesting that all stalkers are lunatics. Actually if you're standing in the bushes outside of Jessica Alba's house with a pair of binoculars, I can sorta see where you're coming from. But a woman obsessing about Klaus Pagh, that's just plain old crazy. In fact; that's sick and twisted. The first sentence of the article is not only crazy, sick and twisted, but also seems to suggest that Mr Pagh dresses as a pimp when he goes out for groceries. Jon Stewart on the internets, on YouTube. And that's bout it for now. Cheers. Monday, July 03, 2006
Now that's out of the way.
Ahh, the Roskilde Festival is over and done with, and a very good one it was too. So I figured i would do a quick round up of what I saw, and how it was:
