*Updated*
Washington D.C. Crawford. Represent. Peace. *Ok, so apparently the Jon Stewart link mentioned below doesn't work, and I can't figure out why not. It worked when I made it! So go here if you want to see it, and click on the link called MC Dubya. In other news, Alf's dad is gay and on crack.* I know I've already made 100 links to videos from The Daily Show, but it is by far the best thing on Tv these days. So here's another one, with Jon once again explaining the concept of talking points. It's very good stuff, and especially the last couple of seconds did it for me. Monday, August 22, 2005
When I Was Just a Little Boy...
Earlier I have linked to the Top 10 Most Ridiculous Black Metal Pics of All Time, so now it's time for the sequel, which can be found here, and which is just as funny. And while we're at it, here's the worst rock stars ever. I've always liked Portsmouth, but this is just a silly signing. Apparently all it takes is one win against England, before the entire Danish national team look really interesting to English clubs. I'm not so sure though that Liverpool are going to buy Agger this time around. Because that would almost be even sillier. The entire concept that they should be willing to ofload Milan Baros in order to buy Daniella Agger is mindblowing. Wednesday, August 17, 2005
"It's only a consolation though."
Right now the good people of Charlton are going "Whaaat???!". Yes indeed, Rommedahl scored one and got an assist, which is the safest sign that England where not only beaten, but pretty humiliated by a Danish team who looked very average in the first half, but pretty impressive in the second. I found this match report, which I thought was very funny. Especially the caption under the picture of Jon Dahl, and refering to Northern Ireland as Northern Ireland Nil made me laugh. I hope that these dreamses really can't become...
Hurray, finally the day arrived where the real football season started. Arsenal beat Newcastle in a game that wasn't fantastic, but still better than pretty much any game in the Danish league. It's a bit concerning that it was so hard to beat a 10 man team, and that it took a somewhat dubious penalty to get into the game. On the plus side, it was nice to see that Van Persie has picked up right where he left off last year. Star Wars humour is geeky, but this is pretty funny. Wednesday, August 10, 2005
Mr. Dog.
We are for the moment in the midst of what must be considered the greatest blogging slump since Julius Cesar mysteriously stopped updating his weblog on March 15, 44 BC. I guess it has something to do with summer vacations, or the novelty of the phenomenon finally wearing off. Or maybe the fact that the most exciting thing in the news is that Paris Hilton does stupid things all the time. Or maybe that there is no football and no concerts to write about, and that Fantastic Four was less than fantastic. It's just hard to take Hornblower seriously as a superhero. Luckily Frekvens has just had it's bi-monthly update, with a rather brilliant link to the new Ok Go video. Beautiful stuff! And good ol' Arseblogger is still delivering the goods, even though Silly Season has been extremely quiet, and not very silly, this year. Tonight Brøndby will play Ajax, and if there's any justice in the world they will be severely beaten. That's it for now. Cheers...
