All the Jagged Edges Dissappear.

I've been listening a lot to the new Nine Inch Nails album online, and it's absolutely excellent, although a bit less ambtious than the last one. That means there's less instrumental passages and more "straight foward" rock. If you want to be as cool as me and listen to it before it's released, simply go here and enjoy.

And this went pretty fast!

Finally, the movie version of Hitchhikers Guide... looks like it could be quite funny, and gets nice reviews in Empire. I've never bothered to read the book, and if the movie ever comes to Denmark, I'll never have to.

A Royal Pain.

This website was mentioned in Danish newspaper Politiken today, and it is brilliantly funny. As always the best part about a website that is the tinyest bit controversial, is where he posts the hatemail he has received. Good stuff.

As I am always ready to support a good cause, you will notice that I have added the a link to Druk Mod Bush (Drunk against Bush) on the far left side, which comes courtesy of Jacob.

And yes, it appears that princess Mary got royally screwed and is now finally pregnant, which of course is what all the people of Denmark has been waiting for. All day long people have been embrasing and kissing each other in celebration of this monumental achievement. And sure enough, it only took 5 minutes before someone figured out how they could get a bit of political attention out of it. But let's not let something as meaningles as politics or women's rights get in the way of what really matters: Spending the next six months trying to guess what the baby will be called.

I predict the baby will either be named after someone really important and powerful, like Pope Benedict, Kofi Annan, Simon Kvamm, Bono or Connie Hedegaard, or if they continue the current trend of naming royal babies after cats, I recommend calling the baby Fritz. Hopefull the baby will not be named after Prince Albert, because that's just wrong.

Uh, and I think there's a bit of footie in store tonight...

Doesn't that cloud look exactly like Crete?

Rolling Stone has an excellent article on Duran Duran. - When I grow up I want to be Simon LeBon.

The Figurines show last night was very good, and I think I spend the rest of what little money I had, so now I just waiting for the next payday on Friday.

Since I can't sleep on Sundays, I have become hooked on Nip/Tuck, which airs Sundays at 3 in the night. It's pretty much the most disgusting show on tv, which may be why it is so great. It's definitely the first time I have seen a man give himself a nosejob in front of a mirror.

There's a New Pope in Town.

In an unexpected turn of events, it turns out the new Pope is in fact not Cardinal Ratzinger, but Cardinal Ratzenberger.

In accordance with Vatican rules he will now change his name to Benedict, after his favorite kind of eggs, just like Pope Florentine, Pope Omelet and Pope Hard-Boiled before him.

I'm a proud black man...

What can I say? GWAR was everything I hoped it would be. From the first decapitation it was end to end good stuff. When they killed Arnold and Paris Hilton I knew this would be an evening to remember, but for me the highlight was when Michael Jackson and Blanket entered the stage and met their inevitable doom, while Jacko kept stating that he was in fact a proud black man, which was why people didn't like him.
I won't go into further details here, as it will take som time, but I will proudly state that that I was covered in multiple colours of blood before I went home, as I was splattered several times.

Fy for Puttgarden!

After talking to some people, it is now clear to me that it was in fact the king of Danish indie, Mikael Simpson, who did those commercials for the lottery a couple of years ago. The ones with the bicycle team and the guy who bought the ferry. Yes very stupid stuff indeed.
Sadly I have very little tangible evidence, so if anyone can find some, please drop a link.

The City is a Dangerous Place.

I think the rest of this week will pretty much be packed with good stuff. It's the Gwar concert tomorrow, and then Napoleon Dynamite friday and Undead Saturday night, courtesy of the Natfilms Festival.

I went downtown today to buy the new Corrosion of Conformity album, which will definitely take some getting used to. But then again I did not like the new QOTSA album right away, and now I think it's great.

Anyhoo, I also ended up buying Swingers, Braindead, Halloween and Rock 'N' Roll High School on DVD, as they were practically free. Almost. I am likely to use Halloween for an exam later this year, and also Halloween and Rock 'N' Roll High School will be used as research to figure out exactly what happened to P.J. Soles.....

I AM Your Neighbour.

The other day I got to think about that video of The Peanuts doing Hey Ya, so if anybody hasn't seen it make sure to check it out. I still think it's pretty funny.

MilkandCookies is a great place to find videos and stuff, and for those who haven't seen them yet, I have to recommend the Rick James scenes from Chappelle's Show.

And lastly, here's the clip with the funniest Niggars I've ever seen.

I'm Running in Quicksand.

I heard a statistic on the radio that said that 10% of all adults in Denmark suffer from insomnia, and 20% have regular problems sleeping. In an Alanis kind of way, the ironic part is that I heard this at 6am while trying desperately to fall asleep. Well, now at least I'm not the only one...

There's not a lot going on news-wise. Henry is about to break Wrighty's scoring record in a couple of games.

There's a story that Jacko alledgedly groped Macauley Culkin. Culkin then made him step in a bucket, dropped an anvil on his head and poured red paint all over him. Because that's just the kind of kid he was.

And today is of course the day of the royal wedding, so right now that's the only thing on tv. They have even moved the premiership game, just to piss me off. When talking about Camilla Parker Bowels, Danish all-round celeb Susanne Bjerrehus said that Camilla was an angel compared to herself. This I think is good news for the British, since it most likely means Camilla has never had sex with a banana in weird 70's movies.

No, my blog is not dead yet.

Not a lot going on these days; a bit of flu-like vibrations in my body, a bit of work, some school, and so on and so forth. I'm planning to go to the The Haunted concert Thursday, and Gwar next week, so hopefully that will be cool.

The Life Aquatic was pretty funny, and especially the soundtrack was really cool. And I think that deep-sea diving sequence where Bill Murray talks about their radio-system will keep making me laugh for the rest of my life.

Contrary to my first opinion, the new QOTSA album i actually pretty good, most of it anyway. And speaking of the Queens, Metal Hammer had a fairly funny April's Fool about them the other day. It's mostly funny because I remember having that discussion a couple of times before...
